Celebrating four visionaries, in an immersive exhibition in the heart of London.

Culture Vanguards launched at Outernet London on October 29th, 2024, an immersive exhibition by Epidemic Sound and Take More Photos celebrating four visionaries who've shaped UK creative culture: Samuel Ross MBE, Bianca Saunders, Rapman, and Ronan McKenzie. Staged inside Outernet's Now Building, one of the most advanced screen spaces in the world, the exhibition brought each of their stories to life through sound, video and photography. Office of Joe Diver led the visual system behind the experience, shaping how imagery, video, typography and colour worked together across the space.

Ronan McKenzie is a multidisciplinary artist working across photography, art, and design, one of the four visionaries at the centre of Culture Vanguards. Her story became one of the exhibition's four narrative threads, brought to life through the same combination of sound, video, and imagery running through the space.

Office of Joe Diver built a quote card system for the exhibition, designed to run across the Now Building's four-storey-high, 360-degree, floor-to-ceiling screen, at 16k resolution, letting each visionary's own words fill a space built to be seen from every angle.

Placed just outside Tottenham Court Road station in the heart of London, Outernet is the UK's most visited cultural attraction, drawing over 80 million visitors a year.

Small type, big stories

A micro-typographic system was designed to house information about each of the four creatives, showcasing their milestones, biography, and key works. Every detail was built to hold real depth without ever overwhelming the giant screen it lived on.

Opening Night

Everyone behind the project came together for an opening night premiere, hosted by Take More Photos and Epidemic Sound.

Court Luxe is a campaign graphic system built for Lacoste's Court Luxe Collection with JD Sports, designed across out-of-home, social and web. Office of Joe Diver worked on the campaign in collaboration with Nynex Studio.

Corker Brothers
A new visual language for an industry set in its ways.

Corker Brothers is a property development company based in Tunbridge Wells, founded by brothers Harry and Oliver Corkery. As young founders entering an industry that had largely looked the same for years, they set out to do things differently, presenting themselves through founder-led content across social media rather than the traditional, distant image the industry was used to. Office of Joe Diver built a new visual identity to match: contemporary in feel, yet rooted in the same heritage and tradition the industry has always valued, a balance built to speak to a younger audience discovering the industry for the first time, while still resonating with the more established clientele Corker Brothers serves.
