A sub-identity built to make one fixture feel like an event.
For Manchester City vs Chelsea in the 2025/26 season, Office of Joe Diver built a sub-identity that slots into the Premier League's existing system while carving out a distinct feel of its own, designed to make one fixture stand out across a packed calendar. The brief called for something sleek and clean, adaptable across every platform it would run on.

Graphic Notes
A frosted blur beneath key numbers created separation between imagery, video and graphics, while a layer of textural microtype gave the system some feeling within a framework built for consistency. The campaign performed strongly across Premier League channels, with individual assets reaching millions of views before and after the match itself.

Objective
A distinct identity, built inside the rules of a heritage brand.

An Adaptable Graphic System
Live sport doesn't allow for a fixed plan. You don't know the final score, what photography will come through, or how the video will actually look until the moment itself happens. The system had to be built to flex around all of it, adaptable enough to hold together whether City won big or the game went to the wire, whatever imagery landed, and whatever platform it needed to run on.
